Senior Software Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions that support our business and technology objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering skills, a passion for solving complex technical problems, and the ability to work collaboratively across IT and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and reliable software applications.
Translate business and technical requirements into effective software solutions.
Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern programming languages and frameworks.
Design and develop APIs, microservices, integrations, and enterprise applications.
Work with SQL and other databases to develop, optimize, and maintain data solutions.
Participate in software architecture, technical design, and technology decisions.
Troubleshoot complex software issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Conduct code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and automated testing.
Participate in CI/CD, DevOps, cloud, and automated deployment processes.
Collaborate with QA, cybersecurity, infrastructure, product, and project teams.
Support production releases, application upgrades, and critical production issues.
Maintain technical documentation and follow software development and security standards.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership when needed.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
7+ years of software engineering or development experience.
Strong programming experience with one or more languages such as C#, .NET, Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
Experience developing REST APIs, web services, and system integrations.
Experience with modern frameworks and software development methodologies.
Experience with Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of SDLC, software architecture, testing, deployment, and production support.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with application and software security, including OWASP and Secure SDLC.
Experience with automated testing and performance optimization.
Experience mentoring engineers or serving as a technical lead.
Experience with AI/ML or AI-assisted software development is a plus.
