About the Role

BlueArcSys LLC is seeking an experienced Information Security Manager with a strong background in securing enterprise information systems. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, risk management, and security operations, with a proven track record of protecting sensitive data and ensuring compliance with federal standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of security policies, standards, and procedures
Manage security operations, including monitoring, incident response, and threat analysis
Oversee vulnerability management and ensure timely remediation of security gaps
Conduct risk assessments and security audits of information systems and infrastructure
Ensure compliance with federal security regulations, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., NIST, FISMA)
Collaborate with IT, development, and leadership teams to implement secure architectures
Manage security awareness training and programs across the organization
Develop and maintain security documentation, reports, and compliance evidence
Provide guidance on secure development practices and risk mitigation strategies

Required Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship (mandatory)
Ability to successfully complete a U.S. government background check
5+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or related fields
Strong understanding of NIST, FISMA, RMF, and other federal cybersecurity frameworks
Experience in security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and risk assessment
Hands-on experience with SIEMs, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and network security tools
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple security initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, CEH, or GSEC
Experience supporting government or defense clients
Background in cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GovCloud)
Experience in secure software development practices
