About the Role

BlueArcSys LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in desktop application development and at least 5 years of relevant project management experience. The ideal candidate will be PMP-certified and capable of leading complex software development projects for government clients. This position requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, plan, and execute desktop application development projects from initiation to deployment
Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables
Coordinate with software developers, QA teams, stakeholders, and government clients
Ensure project compliance with federal standards, security guidelines, and contract requirements
Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and status updates
Conduct project meetings and manage communication across all levels
Implement process improvements and best practices in project management
Ensure high-quality, secure, and timely delivery of software solutions

Required Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship (mandatory)
Ability to successfully complete a U.S. government background check
PMP Certification (required)
5+ years of experience in project management, specifically in desktop application development
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and/or Waterfall methodologies
Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional software teams
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with government or defense clients
Knowledge of secure software development practices
Technical background or familiarity with desktop technologies (.NET, C#, WPF, Java, etc.)
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or similar tools
