Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Reporting & Data Analyst to lead data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, and business intelligence initiatives across the organization. This role will work closely with IT leadership, business stakeholders, project teams, and technology teams to transform complex data into meaningful insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and delivery of IT reports, executive dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics.
Analyze data from multiple systems and sources to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance issues.
Develop advanced reports and interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar BI tools.
Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, validate, and analyze data.
Automate recurring reporting processes and improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.
Partner with IT leadership and business stakeholders to define reporting requirements and analytical needs.
Develop executive-level dashboards and presentations that clearly communicate key findings and recommendations.
Establish and maintain data quality, reporting standards, data definitions, and governance practices.
Perform root-cause analysis on data discrepancies and reporting issues.
Monitor IT operational metrics, project performance, service levels, financial data, and technology KPIs.
Support ad-hoc analysis, forecasting, trend analysis, and strategic business initiatives.
Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on reporting, analytics, and data visualization best practices.
Identify opportunities to improve data processes, reporting automation, and business intelligence capabilities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in data analytics, IT reporting, business intelligence, or a related role.
Advanced SQL and Excel skills.
Strong experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Power BI, Power Query, DAX, SQL Server, Azure, or cloud data platforms.
Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, or other IT management platforms.
Experience with reporting automation, data integration, and ETL processes.
Knowledge of ITIL, IT service management, project management, or cybersecurity reporting.
Experience developing executive KPI scorecards and operational dashboards.
Experience mentoring analysts or leading reporting initiatives.
Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics and reporting is a plus.
