Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business & Systems Analyst to serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. The ideal candidate will analyze business processes, identify technology needs, define system requirements, and help deliver solutions that improve business operations and efficiency.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, and technology requirements.
Gather, analyze, document, and prioritize functional and technical requirements.
Translate business needs into business requirements documents (BRDs), functional requirements, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
Analyze existing applications and systems and identify opportunities for improvement or automation.
Work closely with developers, architects, data teams, QA, infrastructure, and vendors to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
Facilitate requirements workshops, stakeholder meetings, and solution discussions.
Create process flows, system diagrams, data flows, and functional specifications.
Analyze system integrations, APIs, interfaces, and data requirements.
Support solution design and evaluate potential technology solutions.
Develop and execute UAT plans, test scenarios, and test cases and coordinate defect resolution.
Support application implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and production releases.
Perform data analysis and validation using SQL, Excel, or reporting tools.
Identify system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend solutions.
Support change management, training, and business readiness activities.
Maintain requirements traceability, system documentation, and process documentation.
Provide status updates, risks, issues, and recommendations to project and IT leadership.
Mentor junior business and systems analysts as needed.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Business Systems Analyst.
Strong experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
Experience with SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
Strong understanding of enterprise applications, databases, system integrations, and APIs.
Experience with SQL, Excel, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
Experience developing process flows, functional specifications, user stories, and UAT documentation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ERP, CRM, cloud, data, cybersecurity, or enterprise application systems.
Experience with ServiceNow, Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft Azure, or similar platforms.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting and analytics tools.
Knowledge of API integrations, data mapping, and system architecture.
Experience leading UAT and production readiness activities.
CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMP, ITIL, or similar certification is a plus.
Experience working on large-scale digital transformation or technology modernization initiatives.
