Senior Application Developer

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Application Developer to join our technology team. The successful candidate will design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and support business applications and technology solutions.

This position will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, cybersecurity, infrastructure, QA, vendors, and project managers to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions and application designs.
Develop and integrate APIs, web services, and third-party applications.
Develop and optimize database queries, stored procedures, and data integrations.
Troubleshoot application issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Participate in application upgrades, releases, production deployments, and ongoing support.
Perform code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and application testing.
Follow secure software development practices and address application vulnerabilities.
Participate in CI/CD, DevOps, source control, and automated deployment processes.
Work with QA teams to resolve defects and improve application quality.
Create and maintain technical documentation and system specifications.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the development team.
Participate in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid development environments.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
7+ years of professional software/application development experience.
Strong experience with one or more programming languages such as C#, .NET, Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Strong SQL/database development experience.
Experience developing REST APIs and system integrations.
Experience with modern application frameworks such as .NET, Spring Boot, React, Angular, or similar technologies.
Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar source-control platforms.
Understanding of SDLC, software architecture, testing, deployment, and production support.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Experience with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
Knowledge of application security and OWASP principles.
Experience with automated testing and enterprise system integration.
Experience serving as a technical lead or mentoring development teams.
Familiarity with AI-assisted software development is a plus.
